Why I support John McCain

As some of you may know, I have been talking this year about voting for a third party candidate. My reasoning was that the bet way to reform the Republican party was to punish it with a loss.

In recent weeks my views have changed. I still like the idea of showing the Republican party that I hate their flip-flopping, weak-kneed politics by voting for somebody like Ron Paul, however, it strikes me as incredibly unwise in this election.

When John McCain chose Palin as his VP, it persuaded me to support his campaign. McCain himself is disappointing in many ways, but I believe his running mate will be incredibly good for this country.

Boycotting the McCain/Palin ticket would do us no good. It would simply hand the ticket to Obama, and allow him to reshape American politics for years to come. We must continue to fight hard on issues like abortion and traditional marriage. There is no retreat on the frontiers of life and national morality. As the church we are to be salt and light in every frontier. I present to you this electoral season, that I believe you will best be a steward of these interests by voting for the McCain/Palin ticket.

I completely agree. Last night's debate persuaded me to vote for McCain rather than Bob Barr, a Libertarian.

Ok.
THANK you.
Yes, Sarah Palin was a feminist choice AND possibly a pure political move, even though I STRONGLY support her politics.
But who else is there?
Obama?
I think not.
This was an EXCELLENT summary - America, get OVER it: YOU did not put Ron Paul OR Huckabee in. Stop COMPLAINING and Vote Conservative.
